Money & Shards
The server runs on two currencies. Knowing what each is for saves you a lot of confusion.
| Currency | Symbol | What it's for |
|---|---|---|
| Money | $ | The everyday currency: selling loot, most shop items, paying players, bounties. |
| Shards | ★ | The premium currency: spawners, crate keys, premium titles. |
How prices are decided
Every price on the server comes from one source of truth. Each item has a real worth based on how hard it is to obtain, and everything else is derived from it:
- Selling pays you 50% of an item's worth.
- The shop never sells anything below 3× its worth (so you can't buy cheap and sell for profit).
You never have to guess. Check any item's worth with /worth and the item tooltip.
Prices are stable. There's no inflation spiral and no hidden market swings, an item's worth today is its worth tomorrow.
