Placing a bounty
Click a player and set an amount.
- The Money is taken from you immediately and added to their bounty.
- Bounties start at $10,000, no pocket-change tags.
- Bounties stack, everyone's contributions pile onto the same target.
- Placing a bounty is announced to the server in red: Bounty! X is now worth …
- You can't place a bounty on yourself.
Kill streaks auto-price your head
Go on a PvP tear and the server puts a price on your own head: up to +$1,000,000 for every 3 kills in the run, up to $5,000,000 on a single head.
| Streak (kills without dying) | Auto price on your head |
|---|---|
| 3 | up to $1,000,000 |
| 6 | up to $2,000,000 |
| 9 | up to $3,000,000 |
| 15+ | up to $5,000,000 (per-head cap) |
This money comes from the bounty treasure, a shared pot that fills a little every hour, plus the cut it takes on claims and the money from bounties that expire, up to a ceiling. It is not printed out of thin air: if the treasure is low, your auto-price is smaller or doesn't appear, and a big rampage can draw it down for everyone. Nobody can farm it faster than that hourly fill.
Only distinct victims build the streak. Killing the same player again, or farming a string of alt accounts, does nothing, and freshly made, low-level victims don't count at all. A repeat kill within 5 minutes is ignored on top of that. The streak resets the moment you die.
Once your auto-prime is cashed (someone kills you and collects it), you can't be auto-priced again for 1 day, so nobody can loop it on you.
A Rampage! message tells the whole server each time a streak crosses a tier. That's your cue to hunt, or to watch your back.
Random manhunts
Every hour, half an hour after the keyall, if at least 3 players are online, the server marks one random player with a bounty out of nowhere, a manhunt. It's announced in game (Manhunt! X has been marked…) and posted to the bounty channel on Discord with the target's head.
- The target is picked among players who have no bounty and aren't on their post-kill cooldown.
- The amount is random, $500,000 to $3,000,000, paid from the bounty treasure (so if the treasure is low, no manhunt fires that hour).
- A manhunt head is short-lived: it expires in about 3 hours if nobody claims it, and the money simply returns to the treasure. Being marked this way costs the target nothing and doesn't put them on cooldown, so they can be picked again another day.
- If a real player places a bounty on a manhunt target (or the target goes on a kill streak), it becomes a normal bounty with the usual 4-day life.
Claiming a manhunt works exactly like any other bounty (real fight, no cashing a friend or teammate, 5% cut, daily cap).
Spotting a wanted player
Anyone with a live bounty carries a red Wanted line under their name, with the current amount, so you can pick out a target on sight. Every hour, a quarter of an hour after the manhunt, the server broadcasts the Most wanted right now, the three biggest bounties among players who are online, and posts that same top 3 to the bounty channel on Discord.
Claiming a bounty
Kill a wanted player and you collect the pot, minus a small server cut (5%, which goes back into the bounty treasure). Their bounty resets to zero and the claim is announced to the server.
To keep bounties from being farmed by friends killing each other, a claim only pays out when:
- the kill is a real fight (the target was in combat when they went down),
- it isn't a repeat kill of the same player within 5 minutes,
- you didn't fund that bounty yourself,
- the target isn't your friend or teammate, and wasn't in the last 2 hours either (unfriending or leaving the team right before the kill doesn't get around this),
- you and the target haven't already settled a bounty between you in the last 24 hours, either direction, friends or not.
If a claim is blocked, the bounty simply stays on the target for someone else to collect. Logging out mid-fight doesn't save you either: the person you were fighting still gets the kill and the bounty.
Money that other players put up always pays in full (minus the cut). The treasure-funded auto-prime part is capped at $20,000,000 per hunter per day (resets daily). If that cap stops you collecting the full auto-price, the part you couldn't take stays on the target's head for a hunter who isn't capped, instead of being wiped.
Bounties expire
A bounty that nobody claims expires after 4 days. When it does, each funder gets half of their stake back, and the rest goes into the bounty treasure. So back your bounties with real intent, an ignored head slowly refunds itself.
A big bounty makes you a target. If your head is worth a fortune, expect company.
